The Beginning After the End anime’s official website unveiled the preview and synopsis for the 2nd season’s up and coming episode 1.
Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“Arthur and Jasmine are sent on a guild quest to investigate a certain village. Upon arriving at the village, which has lost contact with its inhabitants, they find the villagers trapped inside crystals. As they try to speak with the sole survivor, a giant spider beast suddenly appears. Arthur and Jasmine decide to retreat temporarily, but the beast’s surprise attack turns Jasmine into crystal…!”

The Beginning After the End serves as an American web novel series, crafted by author TurtleMe and brought to life through illustrations by Fuyuki23. Its serialization kicked off on the Royalroad platform on October 28, 2015, continuing until August 24, 2025, before transitioning to Tapas in January 2017. A webtoon version, once again illustrated by Fuyuki23, launched its run on Tapas back in July 2018. Yen Press oversees the English-language releases of the webtoon, having put out seven volumes by March 2025. The adaptation extended to television anime, helmed by Studio A-Cat, which broadcast from April through June 2025.
