The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World franchise recently opened a new website that confirmed a season 2 anime is officially on the way confirmed to premiere on October 2026.

The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World is a Japanese light novel series written by Nana Mikoshiba and illustrated by Riko Korie. It first appeared online on the user-generated novel platform Shลsetsuka ni Narล in October 2019. Kodansha later acquired the series and has been publishing it since July 2020 under their Kodansha Ranobe Bunko imprint.

A manga adaptation illustrated by Norihito Sasaki was serialized on Kodanshaโ€™s Magazine Pocket website and app from June 2020 to January 2024. An anime television series produced by Cloud Hearts aired from January to March 2023, while a second season produced by Zero-G is scheduled to premiere in October 2026.

Plot Summary: After emerging victorious from a brutal war, the legendary Iceblade Sorcerer Ray White enrolls at Arnold Academy disguised as a commoner. His humble background causes students from privileged families to look down on him. Despite the prejudice, he quickly builds friendships and becomes entangled in solving a dangerous conspiracy that threatens the academy.
