Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“Kazuya continues to giddy alone in his apartment, reminiscing about his date with Chizuru the previous day. Mini joins him, and Kazuya reports the results of his date. While Mini has plenty of things to say to him, she senses that the two of them are just like themselves in their earnestness. –Kazuya has been told by Chizuru that she wants to “investigate” his feelings. …That night, as Kazuya begins to think about the future, Chizuru comes to his room to check on him! “Can we talk for a bit?”

Rent-A-Girlfriend, a Japanese manga crafted by Reiji Miyajima, has been captivating readers since its debut in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in July 2017. As of September 2025, it spans forty-two tankōbon volumes. Kodansha USA holds the North American license, launching the first English volume in June 2020.
The story inspired a dynamic anime adaptation by TMS Entertainment, which first hit screens on MBS’s Super Animeism block from July to September 2020. A second season followed from July to September 2022, with a third airing from July to September 2023. The fourth season premiered in July 2025. Additionally, a live-action drama series aired from July to September 2022, bringing the tale to life in a fresh format.
