Draw This, Then Die! anime‘s official website unveiled the first trailer for the up and coming series that confirms July 3, 2026 release date.
The trailer unveils and features the opening theme song “Isho” by Tatsuya Kitani.

Draw This, Then Die! is a Japanese manga series created by writer and illustrator Minoru Toyoda. Since its debut in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shōnen Sunday in November 2021, the story has grown into a compelling hit, with eight tankōbon volumes released as of October 2025. A television anime adaptation produced by Shin-Ei Animation is scheduled to premiere in July 2026.
The series earned major recognition, winning the 16th Manga Taishō in 2023 and the 70th Shogakukan Manga Award in 2025.
In the story, Ai Yasumi is a first-year high school student who lives on Izu Ōshima, an island belonging to Tokyo Prefecture. A passionate manga reader, a pivotal event sparks her desire to create her own stories.
