The Holy Grail of Eris anime‘s official website unveiled the preview and synopsis for up and coming episode 5.
Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“On the way back to the mansion, Connie’s carriage was suddenly attacked.
Connie is saved at the last moment by a certain person, but when she realizes the person’s true identity, she is taken straight to a high-class brothel, where she finds out that the person she is talking to is someone she knows…
The next day, Connie receives news that her best friend, Kate, has been kidnapped.
The notice from the kidnapper contained a threatening demand: “Come alone in exchange for Kate’s life.”
In order to save her best friend, Connie decides to go alone to face the kidnapper.”
The opening theme song “Happy Ever After feat. YU-KA” is performed by Reina Washio.

“The Holy Grail of Eris” is a Japanese light novel series authored by Kujira Tokiwa and illustrated by Yuunagi. It originally appeared online from October 2017 until August 2018 on the user-generated novel platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō. SB Creative later picked it up, releasing four volumes between November 2019 and March 2022 through their GA Novel label. A manga version, illustrated by Hinase Momoyama, began serialization in November 2019 on Square Enix’s Manga Up! site and has since been compiled into thirteen tankōbon volumes. In November 2024, Drecom Media issued a fresh edition of the light novels by the original author and artist, spanning five volumes under the DRE Novels imprint.
