Release date for Classroom of the Elite season 4!

Classroom of the Elite season 4 anime will be released on April 2026.

Classroom of the Elite, known in Japan by its shorthand Yōjitsu, stands as a Japanese light novel series penned by Shōgo Kinugasa and adorned with illustrations from Shunsaku Tomose. The original run appeared from May 2015 through September 2019 via Media Factory’s MF Bunko J label; its follow-up, Classroom of the Elite: Year 2, rolled out between January 2020 and November 2024. A further continuation, Classroom of the Elite: Year 3, kicked off in March 2025.

The narrative unfolds within the elite government-founded institution known as Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School, a top-tier national high school where tensions revolve around the elite ‘Class A,’ a group whose graduates are poised for unparalleled accomplishments in any field they pursue.

The series received a manga version illustrated by Yuyu Ichino, which started running in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive on January 27, 2016. Meanwhile, a manga take on the sequel light novels, brought to life by artist Shia Sasane, launched in the identical publication during December 2021. Bringing it to screens, an anime adaptation from studio Lerche debuted its inaugural season in 2017, followed by a sophomore outing in 2022 and a third in 2024.
