With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess franchise confirmed recently that a 2nd anime season is officially on the way with a teaser trailer.
The 2nd season is set to premiere on October 2026.

With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess is a Japanese manga series originally released as a webtoon. Written by Aminohada and illustrated by Sorajima, the story first launched online in August 2022 on platforms including Piccoma, Mecha Comic, and Comico Japan. It was later picked up by Ichijinsha, which began releasing physical tankōbon volumes under its Comic Lake imprint in March 2024, with three volumes currently available. An English digital version is also published on Comico’s Pocket Comics platform.
A “light anime” television adaptation produced by Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio aired from July to September 2025.
Set in the fantasy kingdom of Zied, the story follows Rua, an orphaned daughter of a baron who was raised in a temple as a candidate for the long-vacant position of Saintess. Though she possesses powerful healing abilities, they come with a severe drawback: she must absorb the pain, injuries, and illnesses of those she heals. Ostracized and mocked by the temple’s residents, Rua finds her only solace in her best friend Arianne.
When her beloved Garrett Vance of the Royal Knights is gravely wounded battling a demonic beast, Rua saves his life at great cost to herself. Upon waking, she is heartbroken to discover that Arianne has claimed credit for the miracle, is now engaged to Garrett, and is poised to become the new Saintess. Betrayed and pushed to her limits by continued abuse, Rua begins turning her powers against her tormentors, taking dark satisfaction in making them suffer as she once did.
Her growing despair catches the attention of Sven, the kingdom’s second prince. He reveals a sinister conspiracy: the Temple’s High Priest plans to release a man-made, nearly incurable disease upon the populace so that his chosen Saintess, Arianne, can “heal” the victims and boost the Temple’s influence, ultimately aiming to seize control of the kingdom. After witnessing the High Priest and Arianne’s secret meeting and confirming the plot, Rua allies with Sven to dismantle the scheme and exact revenge on those who wronged her.
