Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime‘s official website unveiled the preview and synopsis for the 2nd season’s up and coming episode 5.
Synopsis is as following:
“Will defeated Devande with a single strike from the Magic Sword Wis, which combines the powers of the “wand” and the “sword.”
Despite the large number of casualties and the enemy mastermind still unidentified, the capital has nevertheless begun moving forward with its reconstruction.
And now, the day of the Magic Academy graduation has arrived… In front of Will, who has lost Rosti and had his path to the “Tower” severed, the names of those advancing to the “Tower” are quietly being read aloud――.”
Opening theme: “BELIEVERS” is performed by ASH DA HERO, Ending theme: “Reachlight” is performed by Shiyui.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 anime will premiere on April 2026.
Wistoria: Sword and Sorcery is a Japanese manga crafted by writer Fujino Ōmori and artist Toshi Aoi. It debuted in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in December 2020, with its chapters compiled into 13 tankōbon volumes by July 2025. An anime adaptation, brought to life by Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures, aired from July to September 2024.
The story centers on a young man with no apparent magical aptitude, striving to rise through the ranks of a prestigious magical academy in a realm where sorcery reigns supreme. Armed solely with his exceptional swordsmanship, he aims to reconnect with his childhood friend, a gifted magical prodigy.
