The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen anime‘s official website unveiled the preview and synopsis for the up and coming episode 6.
Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“As Arthur was drinking with Alan and the others, he began to recount the night he rescued Leon, when he had a conversation with Pride through the door. Alan and the others asked if something had happened between him and Pride, but the drunk Arthur began to shower them with praise… Meanwhile, Steil reveals that he will be studying under the current regent, Vest, as the next regent. As a result, Steil will no longer be able to be by Pride’s side all the time, and he makes a certain resolution to ensure that she can be protected even in his absence.”
Retroriron handles the opening theme song titled “Ego,” while Garakuta takes on the ending theme song “Tarareba.”
The 2nd season premieres on April 7, 2026.

The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior is a Japanese light novel series written by Tenichi. It first appeared on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in April 2018, later receiving a printed release from Ichijinsha in June 2019 with illustrations by Suzunosuke. A manga adaptation illustrated by Bunko Matsuura ran on the Zero-Sum Online website from March 2020 to March 2022. The story was adapted into an anime television series produced by OLM, which aired between July and September 2023. A second season is scheduled to debut in April 2026.
Plot overview:
One day, an eight-year-old girl named Pride Royal Ivy suddenly recalls memories from her previous life and realizes she has been reborn inside the otome game Our Ray of Light. Within the game’s storyline, Pride is portrayed as a cruel and tyrannical character who eventually ascends the throne as a heartless queen and becomes the final boss—only to be defeated by her younger sister, whom she once mistreated. Determined to avoid this tragic fate, Pride decides to use her foreknowledge and abilities from the game to change her destiny. By choosing kindness and empathy over cruelty, she strives to become a just ruler and create a brighter future for both her kingdom and the people close to her.
