The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for The Throne anime‘s official website unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming anime.

The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for The Throne is a Japanese light novel series written by Tanba and illustrated by Yuunagi. It was first posted online between February 2019 and February 2024 on the user-generated novel platform Shลsetsuka ni Narล. Kadokawa Shoten later picked it up for print, releasing sixteen volumes under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint since September 2019.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Yukino Amagai began serialization in December 2019 on Kadokawa Shotenโs Young Ace Up website and has been compiled into nine tankลbon volumes so far. Both the light novel and manga have received official licensing in North America by Kadokawa.
Plot summary:
In the Ardrasia Empire, the sudden death of the crown prince in battle has intensified the fierce competition for the imperial throne. For the princes, defeat in this power struggle can mean death, leaving lower-ranking royals in constant danger of assassination.
