KAMUI: He’s Behind You (Ushiro no Shōmen Kamui-san) is a Japanese manga series written by Eroki and illustrated by Shinko Konoshiro. It started serialization in March 2020 on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday and MangaONE platforms. An anime television adaptation produced by Zero-G and ZG-R is scheduled to premiere in July 2026.
The story follows Kamui, a renowned and highly skilled exorcist, who teams up with his ordinary high school assistant Shizuka Mizuzuka—who possesses the rare ability to see ghosts. Together, they handle a variety of exorcisms involving monsters and other supernatural disturbances.
Their approach to exorcism is highly unusual, relying on unconventional sexual techniques intended to make evil spirits experience a sensation akin to ascending to heaven.
