GATE 2: Tides of Conflict anime‘s official website has just unveiled a brand new key visual for the up and coming series.
The staff of the anime also announced a special collaboration between the anime and the VOCALOID Collection Summer 2026 event. The anime’s ending theme song will be chosen from the winning entry of the contest, which is open to creators from all around the world.
The anime will go live on 2027.

- Kasagi Labo, Oshi, and GENCO as producers
Gate is a Japanese fantasy novel series penned by Takumi Yanai, featuring illustrations by Daisuke Izuka and Kurojishi.
Initially serialized from 2006 to 2009 on the user-driven platform Arcadia, it was later picked up by AlphaPolis for publication in 2010. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Satoru Sao, launched in July 2011, followed by three spin-off manga in 2015. The anime adaptation aired in two parts: the first from July to September 2015, and the second from January to March 2016. Sentai Filmworks holds the North American license for the series.
A follow-up novel series, Gate Season 2: Jieitai Kano Umi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri, started in 2017, with an anime adaptation of the sequel announced.
