The Eccentric Doctor of the Moon Flower Kingdom is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tohru Himuka. It began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten’s shōjo manga magazine Asuka in January 2018.
Synopsis:
While traveling to Ran Province, the prince of the Moonflower Kingdom and his companion Shiei are ambushed by highwaymen hired by the concubine Ro. In the next town, they are brought to the doctor Koyo. With the help of her assistant Shingdam, she successfully saves Shiei’s life. Prince Keiun is deeply impressed by her exceptional medical knowledge and advanced surgical skills. In their land, illnesses are traditionally treated through rituals that offer only limited results. To properly repay her, the two noblemen bring the doctor and her assistant back to the capital. Keiun hopes to use Koyo’s abilities to heal his people and spread her groundbreaking knowledge. However, the young, beautiful, and highly eccentric woman soon meets strong resistance, and the prince remains in peril.
