The Oblivious Saint Can’t Contain Her Power: Forget My Sister! Turns Out I Was the Real Saint All Along! is a Japanese light novel series written by Almond and illustrated by Yoshiro Ambe.
The story was first serialized on the popular user-generated novel platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō between 2020 and 2023. It was later picked up by Earth Star Entertainment, which released four volumes under its Earth Star Luna imprint from June 2021 to June 2023. A manga adaptation illustrated by Yona Etō began serialization in April 2022 on Earth Star Entertainment’s Comic Earth Star website. An anime television series produced by Magic Bus and Picante Circus is scheduled to premiere in July 2026.
Plot Summary:
The Duke has two daughters: the beautiful and talented Flora, who is a strong candidate to become a saint, and Carolina, who is plain-looking and considered to have no special abilities. To strengthen ties with a neighboring country, Carolina is sent off to marry the second prince, a man rumored to be brutal and ruthless. However, after the marriage, it is gradually revealed that Carolina is actually the far more gifted sister.
