“The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” is a Japanese manga series penned by Rikito Nakamura [ja] and drawn by Yukiko Nozawa [ja]. It began serialization in Shueisha’s seinen magazine Weekly Young Jump in December 2019, with its chapters compiled into 23 tankōbon volumes through September 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment has acquired the rights for an English-language edition in North America.
The story centers on Rentarō Aijō, a high schooler enduring 100 straight romantic failures, who encounters the God of Love during a shrine visit. The deity confesses to a heavenly mistake that has linked Rentarō to 100 soulmates, cautioning that turning away from any one of them would doom her to deadly calamity. Determined to avert such tragedies, Rentarō commits to romancing every last one of them concurrently.
Bibury Animation Studios brought the series to life as an anime TV adaptation, which ran from October until December 2023.
