The Barbarian’s Bride anime’s official website unveiled the preview and synopsis for the series’ up and coming episode 3.
Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“Guided by Veol, Serafina visits the largest settlement, “Lakeside.” Suddenly surrounded by a large group of warriors, she prepares herself for revenge. Furthermore, at the home of a woman named Yufa, she learns that her husband was killed in the Eastern campaign… “
The Barbarian’s Bride anime premiered on April 9, 2026.
The opening theme “Beautiful” is performed by Mayu Maeshima, alongside the ending theme “Shirubekikoto” is performed by sajou no hana.
(Originally planned for an earlier slot, the premiere was shifted to April 2026 to polish the quality even further. Crunchyroll will handle international streaming outside Japan and mainland China.)

The Barbarian’s Bride, alternatively titled The Warrior Princess and the Savage King, is a Japanese manga crafted and drawn by Noriaki Kotoba. It has been featured in Kodansha’s shōnen manga publication Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, with serialization beginning in January 2021.
Plot of the manga is as following:
“Serafina de Lavillant, the mightiest knight of the Western realms, battles fiercely against eastern barbarians. Taken captive, she is offered to Veor, the barbarian king, as his intended bride. To her astonishment, she discovers that the king is strikingly handsome, cultured, and determined to win her heart.”
