Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime‘s official website unveiled the preview and synopsis for the 2nd season’s up and coming episode 1.
Synopsis is as following:
“Two months have passed since the joint training exercise in the dungeon’s depths, where Will and the others repelled the attack of the powerful monster known as the Evil Grand Duke.
Now, as sixth-year students at Rigarden Magical Academy, Will and his classmates face the written examination that will determine their advancement to the “Tower.” However, the final test presented by Edward delivers a shocking question…
Meanwhile, in the “Magical Capital” Urb Rigarden, the year-end festival “Boundary Festival Termitaria” has begun. As the lively crowds watch on, the “Supreme Five Wands Magia Vende” deploy a new grand barrier across the city.
But at that moment… an ominous magic circle appears in the night sky.”

Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 anime will premiere on April 2026.
Wistoria: Sword and Sorcery is a Japanese manga crafted by writer Fujino Ōmori and artist Toshi Aoi. It debuted in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in December 2020, with its chapters compiled into 13 tankōbon volumes by July 2025. An anime adaptation, brought to life by Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures, aired from July to September 2024.
The story centers on a young man with no apparent magical aptitude, striving to rise through the ranks of a prestigious magical academy in a realm where sorcery reigns supreme. Armed solely with his exceptional swordsmanship, he aims to reconnect with his childhood friend, a gifted magical prodigy.
