Fans of Tune In to the Midnight Heart will be able to tune in once more, as the anime has officially been renewed for a 2nd season.
Along with the announcement, a special video was released featuring recorded messages from the voice cast, accompanied by a brand-new illustration created by the manga’s author and illustrator, Masakuni Igarashi.

Tune In to the Midnight Heart is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masakuni Igarashi. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in September 2023 and has been collected into twelve tankōbon volumes as of March 2026. The series is also being released simultaneously in English on Kodansha’s K Manga digital platform.
The story centers on a young Japanese boy who is determined to uncover the true identity of “Apollo,” the mysterious girl whose livestreams once brought him comfort and hope. After narrowing his search to a particular high school, he transfers there, only to face a new obstacle: identifying which of the four girls in the broadcasting club is the elusive Apollo. Each of the girls harbors her own dreams and ambitions, and all of them are eager for his unexpected financial support.
An anime television series adaptation produced by Gekkou aired from January to March 2026.
