HoneyWorks feat. Airi Suzuki will perform the opening theme song “Chikai wa Kyunto.”
The anime also unveiled a new key visual.
Always a Catch!: How I Punched My Way into Marrying a Prince is a Japanese light novel series authored by Mayo Momoyo, with illustrations provided by Itsuki Mito. The story first appeared as a short story on the user-generated platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō in October 2020. Serialization of a follow-up sequel started in December of the same year. Square Enix later picked up the series and began releasing it under their SQEX Novel label starting in August 2021. A manga version, drawn by Kaki Nagato, launched on Square Enix’s Manga Up! digital platform in April 2022. An anime television adaptation, produced by TMS Entertainment and animated by Troyca, is scheduled to debut in April 2026.
The plot of the light-novel is as following:
“Maria Annovazzi, the fifth daughter of Duke Annovazzi, was brought up as the designated successor to her family’s ducal title and became highly proficient in the martial arts tradition of her house. After losing her position as heir, she journeys to the adjacent kingdom of Rubini in search of a suitable husband. Upon her arrival, the crown prince of Rubini unexpectedly chooses her to become his fiancée.”
