Darwin Incident Anime Is Headed To Amazon Prime Video In The United States

Amazon Prime Video has secured streaming rights for the The Darwin Incident anime (Darwin Jihen) in the United States and Canada. The platform is offering the series with audio tracks in English, Dutch, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), French, Italian, Portuguese, Thai, and Japanese.

The anime unveiled new cast members:

  • Toshiyuki Morikawa as Gilbert Stein
  • Rina Satō as Hannah Stein
  • Yōji Ueda as Philip Graham
  • Kaito Ishikawa as Gale

The Darwin Incident anime is set to go live on January 6, 2026.

“The Darwin Incident” is a Japanese manga series created and illustrated by Shun Umezawa [ja]. The story has been running in Kodansha’s seinen publication Monthly Afternoon starting from June 2020. A TV anime adaptation, brought to life by Bellnox Films, is scheduled to launch in January 2026.

As of May 2024, the manga series had surpassed 1.6 million copies in circulation. During 2022, “The Darwin Incident” claimed victory at the 15th Manga Taishō and earned the Excellence Award from the 25th Japan Media Arts Festival.
