The American streaming giant Netflix unveiled the new trailer for the up and coming Cosmic Princess Kaguya! anime film.
The latest trailer unveils a sneak peek at the track “Watashiha Watashinokotoga Suki” (“I like who I am”), voiced by Yūko Natsuyoshi in the role of Kaguya and crafted by HoneyWorks, as well as the theme song “Ex-Otogibanashi” (“Ex-Fairy Tale”), brought to life by Saori Hayami portraying Yachiyo and composed by Ryo (supercell).
The anime unveiled a new key visual as well.

Cosmic Princess Kaguya! stands as a forthcoming Japanese animated musical fantasy film[3][2], helmed by Shingo Yamashita in his inaugural feature-length directing role, based on a script he developed alongside Saeri Natsuo [ja]. This fresh take on the legendary folktale The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter is being brought to life by Studio Colorido and Studio Chromato, with character designs handled by Akihiro Nagae and Hechima. The movie’s score draws from Vocaloid creators such as Ryo of Supercell, Yuigot, Aqu3ra [ja], HoneyWorks, 40mP [ja], and Kz of Livetune. It is set to launch exclusively on Netflix come January 22, 2026.
