The Japanese entertainment giant Aniplex unveiled a trailer that confirms, Needy Streamer Overload game is officially getting an anime in April 2026.

Needy Streamer Overload, a 2022 visual novel game infused with denpa aesthetics, was developed by indie Japanese creator Xemono and released by WSS Playground on platforms including macOS, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch. It’s also available via Alliance Arts Inc. on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. In the game, you step into the shoes of a dedicated manager guiding a young female content creator through the highs and lows of live streaming, where your choices determine her path to fame—aiming to rack up a million subscribers in just 30 days. Originally launched as Needy Girl Overdose in Japan, the title was rebranded for international audiences to better suit Western sensibilities.
