Eren the Southpaw anime‘s official website unveiled the teaser trailer for the upcoming series that confirms April 2026 release date.
The Japanese distribution company Gaga portrays the anime:
“Halfway through high school, everyone begins to seriously consider their future. Koichi Asakura, who aspires to attend an art school to become a designer, is shocked one day by graffiti scrawled on the wall of an art museum. The artist is Ellen Yamagishi, a left-handed high school student whose talents have been suppressed since a certain incident.
The two eventually come to recognize each other through drawing, and Koichi embarks on his path to becoming a designer, while Ellen embarks on her path to becoming a painter.”

“Hidarikiki no Eren” is a Japanese web manga series created and illustrated by Kappi. The original run appeared on the cakes web manga platform from March 2016 until September 2017. A revised edition, with illustrations by nifuni, ran on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ digital service between October 2017 and October 2022, gathering its chapters into 24 tankōbon volumes. The story received a 10-episode live-action TV drama adaptation, which aired on MBS and TBS from October to December 2019.
