The Japanese animation studio LIDEN FILMS announced recently that Tsutomu’s Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki. (Older Men Like Cute Things) manga is getting an anime.
Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki (“Older Men Like Cute Things”) is a Japanese manga series created and illustrated by Tsutomu. The story has been running digitally on Flex Comix’s Comic Polaris website since July 2017, with eleven tankōbon volumes released so far. It received a live-action television drama adaptation that ran from August through September 2020.
The plot of the manga is as following:
“The series revolves around Mitsutaka Oji, a 40-year-old guy who comes across as effortlessly handsome, composed, and top-notch in his professional role. Beneath that polished exterior, though, hides his guilty pleasure: a deep-seated obsession with anything tiny and adorable. The humorous manga tracks his routine daily escapades.”
