Blue Lock anime‘s official website unveiled that a 3rd season is officially in the works.
The franchise also unveiled that a live-action film is in production as well which will premiere in Summer 2026.
Blue Lock is a Japanese manga crafted by writer Muneyuki Kaneshiro and artist Yusuke Nomura. It has been running in Kodanshaโs Weekly Shลnen Magazine since August 2018, with its chapters compiled into 35 tankลbon volumes as of August 2025.
An anime TV series, brought to life by Eight Bit, was broadcast from October 2022 to March 2023. A feature film adapting the Episode Nagi spin-off manga hit theaters in April 2024. The animeโs second season, titled vs. U-20 Japan, aired from October to December 2024.
