Call of the Night anime‘s official website unveiled the preview and synopsis for the 2nd season’s up and coming 12th episode.
Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“Kou takes the drunk Anko back to Nazuna’s room, leaving her as a “sleeping companion.” Anko falls asleep talking to him about the difficulties of life. As Kou and Nazuna walk through the city at night, they begin to think about what “normal” means. With Anko having lost her purpose in life, what will be the outcome of Kou and Nazuna’s “night out”?”

Call of the Night is a Japanese manga crafted and drawn by Kotoyama [ja]. It ran in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shōnen Sunday, a shōnen manga magazine, from August 2019 until January 2024. Viz Media holds the license for its English publication in North America. An anime TV series, adapted by Liden Films, was broadcast from July to September 2022 on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block.
The plot of the series is as following:
“Struggling with sleeplessness and a lack of fulfillment in his everyday routine, Ko Yamori ditches school and starts roaming the streets after dark. He crosses paths with Nazuna Nanakusa, a vampire who introduces him to the thrill of living as a creature of the night. Captivated, Ko yearns to become a vampire too, but to do so, he must first develop genuine feelings of love for her.”
