The TV anime adaptation of Victoria of Many Faces has unveiled its July premiere date along with a striking new teaser visual.
Victoria of Many Faces is a Japanese light novel series penned by Syuu, with illustrations provided by Nanna Fujimi. The story first appeared as a web serialization on the user-generated platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō, running from September through November 2021. Following that initial run, a continuation of the series launched in April 2022.
Media Factory later picked up the rights and started releasing it in print under their MF Books label beginning in July 2022. A manga version, drawn by Komo Ushino, kicked off its serialization on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker site in December 2022.
An anime television adaptation, produced by Studio Deen, is scheduled to make its debut in July 2026.
The plot is as following:
“Victoria Sellers, formerly known as Chloe, was an elite spy serving the Kingdom of Hagl, renowned for her exceptional expertise in disguises and hand-to-hand combat. Following a devastating betrayal by her superior, she chose to leave the shadowy world of espionage behind, settling into a quiet civilian existence in the neighboring Kingdom of Ashbury under her new alias.
In time, she takes in and adopts an orphaned girl named Nonna, discovering along the way that the versatile abilities she honed during her covert career prove surprisingly valuable in everyday ordinary life.”
