Tougen Anki anime’s official website has just unveiled the preview and synopsis for the series’ up and coming 10th episode.
Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“While the fierce battle between the demons and Momotaro unfolds in Kyoto, Samidare appears at the Momotaro Agency headquarters in Tokyo. Despite battling the taunts of Unit 21 commander Momogan Shinya, Samidare declares that he will kill Shiki, one of the “children of the demon gods.” Meanwhile, Tsubakiri’s goal is also to capture Shiki, the child of the demon god. Wanting to capture Shiki alive for research purposes, Tsubakiri thoroughly tortures her. Then, as Shiki collapses, having used up all his blood, he attempts to kill Mei. Even the deaths of her parents, who tried to protect her, are mocked by Mei. Falling into the depths of despair, Shiki’s cries reach her. With her body drained of blood and strength, Shiki yearns for the power to protect. In the next moment, Shiki’s entire body is engulfed in immense flames. It was the power of the fiery demon god “Enki.”
Tougen Anki episode 10 will premiere on September 13, 2025.

The story is portrayed as following:

The bloodlines of “Oni” and “Momotaro” have been passed down among certain humans for generations. Long ago, the Oni, aware of their own ferocity, lived in seclusion. However, their peace was shattered by an invasion led by Momotaro. Over thousands of years, these two factions formed the “Momotaro Agency” and the “Oni Agency,” respectively, and have been locked in conflict ever since.
The protagonist, Shiki Ichinose, suddenly learns of his Oni lineage following an unexpected attack by Momotaro. This revelation sets Shiki on a path to discover the destiny that lies within his blood — a meeting with the Oni dwelling within him.
