Sakamoto Days Part 2 Anime Unveils Preview, Trailer & Synopsis For Episode 2

Sakamoto Days anime‘s official website unveiled the preview, trailer and synopsis for the series’ 2nd part’s episode 2 titled “Assault”.

Synopsis for the episode is as following:

“In the battle against Saw, Shin awakens to a new ability. In order to heal the battered body with a load, he was treated as a divine healer, Miyabaa, a chiropractor of God’s hand. Meanwhile, ORDER’s Obutsu burys the dump, and there are two more on death row inmates. Aoi, who is a shopkeeper at Sakamoto Shoten, is approached by a death row inmate minimalist…! Heisuke, who was looking for a death row inmate from the tower, was asked by Sakamoto to find an apartment on death row inmate.”

SAKAMOTO DAYS, a Japanese manga crafted by writer and artist Yuto Suzuki, has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump since November 2020. As of June 2025, its chapters have been compiled into 22 tankōbon volumes. The series is also available in English through Viz Media and the Manga Plus platform. By June 2025, the manga had surpassed 12 million copies in circulation.

The narrative centers on Taro Sakamoto, a former elite assassin who has traded his deadly past for a tranquil life as a devoted family man. His quiet existence is upended when old foes and associates from his hitman days track him down, seeking vengeance. To safeguard his loved ones, Sakamoto must rely on his unparalleled fighting prowess to confront a range of dangerous opponents, all while striving to preserve his unassuming, everyday persona.

A television anime adaptation, brought to life by TMS Entertainment, was broadcast from January to March 2025.
