The American streaming and entertainment giant Netflix unveiled that they are officially producing a new anime titled Love Through a Prism.

Love Through a Prism anime will be released on January 15, 2026 on Netflix.

Love Through a Prism marks the arrival of a fresh Japanese original net animation (ONA) series, crafted by Yoko Kamio—best known for Boys Over Flowers—and brought to life by Wit Studio. The project falls under the direction of Kazuto Nakazawa, Tetsuya Takahashi, and Saki Fujii, with the script penned by Kamio alongside Fujii; Naoki Chiba handles the soundtrack. Kamio delivers the initial character illustrations, which Yasuko Takahashi then refines for the animated format. Its opening track, “star flower,” features vocals from Chilli Beans.
