On Monday, the 40th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump announced that Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s manga Kill Blue will be adapted into a TV anime set to air in 2026.
The anime also unveiled a key visual.

The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump featured the concluding chapter of the manga on Monday. The 11th volume is slated for release on September 4, followed by the 12th volume on November 4, and the 13th volume on December 4.
Staff of the anime include:
- Hiro Kaburagi as Director
- Animation Studio: CUE
- Miho Daidōji as Character Designer
VIZ MEDIA portrays the manga as following:
“Juzo Ogami’s a legend. Even among hit men, his name sends shivers down spines. There’s never been a job he couldn’t handle—that is, until the day he wakes up as a teenager! But how has his body transformed? To find out, he’ll have to infiltrate the one place he thought he’d never find himself in again…school!”
Kill Blue is a Japanese manga crafted and drawn by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. It ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from April 2023 until September 2025, with its chapters compiled into ten tankōbon volumes by June 2025.
