Historie, stylized as HISTORIĒ, is a historical Japanese manga series both written and illustrated by Hitoshi Iwaaki. The narrative centers on Eumenes, who served as a secretary and general under Alexander the Great. A television anime adaptation by Liden Films has been announced.

The series earned the Grand Prize at the 14th Japan Media Arts Festival in 2010 and the 16th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2012. In 2025, it received the 49th Kodansha Manga Award in the general category.

Plot of the series is as following:

“Set during the mid-4th century BC in Greece, Historie presents a fictionalized retelling of the life of Eumenes, who served as a royal secretary and general to Alexander the Great. The story traces his journey from childhood through adulthood. Born to a prosperous family in the city-state of Cardia, Eumenes falls into slavery after a false accusation of murdering his adoptive father. After managing to escape, he sets out on an extended path where his sharp intelligence, tactical brilliance, and prowess in battle gradually earn him widespread recognition.”
