Tougen Anki anime’s official website has just unveiled the preview and synopsis for the series’ up and coming 7th episode.
Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“The commander of the support forces, Oiran-zaka Kyoya, and Korasakizaki encounter Tobakiri and Yomogi, who have infiltrated the Kyoto branch. Oiran-zaka issues orders for a retreat, prompting Korasakizaki to withdraw. Meanwhile, Yomogi uses the power of Momo to create a massive black box, completely sealing off the Kyoto branch. At the same time, Korasakizaki, who has regrouped with Shiki and the others, realizes that their escape route has been blocked. Then, a monster named Aguri, unleashed by Tobakiri, appears. As Aguri relentlessly attacks the demons, the support forces fall into chaos. Mizutori Ren and Shujutsumei Rokuro take refuge in a small room, but a single Aguri attacks them. With Rokuro having lost the will to fight and relying solely on her, Mizutori, driven by her innate desire to serve, activates her Blood Erosion Release and confronts Aguri head-on.”

The story is portrayed as following:

The bloodlines of “Oni” and “Momotaro” have been passed down among certain humans for generations. Long ago, the Oni, aware of their own ferocity, lived in seclusion. However, their peace was shattered by an invasion led by Momotaro. Over thousands of years, these two factions formed the “Momotaro Agency” and the “Oni Agency,” respectively, and have been locked in conflict ever since.
