Devil May Cry is an adult animated urban fantasy action show crafted by Adi Shankar and brought to life by South Korea’s Studio Mir. Drawing inspiration from Capcom’s iconic Japanese video game series, it centers on Dante, a demon-hunting mercenary, as he battles to thwart a demonic assault on Earth led by the formidable demon White Rabbit, while clashing with the adept warrior Mary.
The debut season launched on Netflix on April 3, 2025, earning favorable critical acclaim. Just a week after its premiere, the show was greenlit for a second season, slated to hit screens in 2026.
