Goodbye, Lara is an upcoming original Japanese anime TV series produced and animated by Kinema Citrus to mark the studio’s 15th anniversary. The project is directed by Takushi Koide, with scripts penned by Anna Kawahara, character designs by Shiori Tani, and music composed by Yuma Yamaguchi. The series is scheduled to debut in July 2026.
The announcement for Goodbye, Lara took place at Anime Central 2024 in Chicago, Illinois, where it was revealed together with another original anime from the studio called Ninja Skooler.
