Sparks of Tomorrow anime‘s official website unveiled a brand new trailer for the upcoming Kyoto Animation series that unveils more cast members.
The cast members include:
- Daisuke Ono as Seiroku Sakamoto
- Shunsuke Takeuchi as Kengo Kuga
- Minako Kotobuki as Noriko Momokawa
- Kōki Uchiyama as Yosuke Mizoe
Sparks of Tomorrow anime will premiere on July 2026.

“20 Seiki Denki Mokuroku” is a Japanese light novel authored by Hiro Yūki and featuring illustrations by Kazumi Ikeda [ja], along with artwork and backgrounds created by Momoka Nagatani. Kyoto Animation released the novel through their KA Esuma Bunko imprint in August 2018.
Offical synopsis for the novel is as following:
“In Meiji era Japan, civilization is highly dependent on advanced steam power. Two individuals meet in Kyoto and uncover the secret of the “20th Century Electrical Catalog”, allowing them the potential to realize the dreams they once had.”
