I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day is a Japanese yuri manga created by writer and illustrator Aono Nachi. The series originally ran in Ichijinsha‘s Comic Yuri Hime magazine from August 2018 through December 2019. Following that, it shifted to digital serialization on the platforms PixivYurihime and Ichijin Plus. Kodansha USA holds the license for its English-language publication. A television anime adaptation, produced by Roll2 [ja], is scheduled to begin airing in July 2026.
Story of the anime is portrayed as following:
“In a harsh institution that gathers orphaned girls and trains them as magical soldiers for an ongoing war, 14-year-old Sheena Totsuki wakes one morning to discover her roommate has vanished—lost to battle. Sheena buries her sorrow and forces herself to appear resilient, but that same evening, a blood-soaked girl stumbles toward her. Despite grave wounds, the stranger stays upbeat and lively, leaving Sheena bewildered.
The following day, the enigmatic girl enters Sheena’s class as a transfer student, introducing herself as Mimi Kagari. Whispers among the students reveal that Mimi is considered the school’s hidden ace—an apparently undying force on the battlefield. Assigned as Sheena’s new roommate, the two begin sharing their lives. Though their perspectives on the brutal environment differ sharply, their bond deepens over time.”
