The Japanese publishing giant Square Enix unveiled that Jinushi’s Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You manga will get an anime adaptation that will premiere on TBS in 2026.
Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You is a Japanese manga crafted by Jinushi, who both writes and illustrates the series. It debuted as a webcomic shared on Twitter in March 2022, quickly gaining traction before transitioning to a serialized format in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine starting in August 2022. The manga has been compiled into tankōbon volumes by Square Enix, with six volumes released as of January 2025.
