On Monday, an official website launched to reveal that Oreco Tachibana‘s manga Firefly Wedding is receiving a television anime adaptation.
The series is scheduled to debut this October.
This exciting news follows the manga’s recent conclusion and builds on its strong popularity among readers.
Staff of the anime include:

- Yukiko Aikei as Character Designer
- Animation Studio: David Production
Firefly Wedding (also known as Hotaru no Yomeiri) is a Japanese manga created by writer and illustrator Oreco Tachibana. The series launched in January 2023 on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website (under the “Girl’s Club” label) as well as the MangaONE app.
A television anime adaptation, produced by David Production, has been officially announced and is scheduled to premiere in October 2026.
