Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime‘s official website unveiled a new teaser visual for the upcoming 3rd season that confirms July 2026 release date.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is a popular Japanese light novel series penned by Rifujin na Magonote and featuring illustrations by Shirotaka. The story centers on Rudeus Greyrat, a reclusive, overweight, and unemployed man in his previous life who tragically dies and is reborn into a magical fantasy world. Keeping all his memories intact, he resolves to live this second chance to the fullest, free of regrets.
The series first appeared as a web novel on the platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō starting in November 2012. In the following year, Media Factory’s MF Books imprint picked it up for a printed light novel release, complete with artwork by the Pixiv artist Shirotaka. A manga version, illustrated by Yuka Fujikawa, launched in the June 2014 issue of Monthly Comic Flapper, and several spin-off manga titles followed. Seven Seas Entertainment secured the rights to publish both the light novels and manga volumes in English for the North American market.
The anime adaptation, produced by Studio Bind, brought the story to life on screen. Its first season broadcast from January to December 2021 (split into two cours). The second season followed, running from July 2023 through July 2024. As of early 2026, a third season is confirmed to premiere in 2026, with many sources pointing to an April start.
