The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows anime‘s official website recently confirmed with a teaser trailer that a 2nd season is on the way.
The anime also unveiled a teaser visual for the upcoming 2nd season.
The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows is a Japanese light novel series authored by Sakaku Hishikawa with illustrations by Daburyu. It first appeared as an online serialization on the user-submitted platform Shลsetsuka ni Narล starting in November 2020. SB Creative later picked it up for physical publication under the GA Novel label, launching in October 2021 and reaching eight volumes by March 2025.
A manga version, drawn by Ten Jลซnoichi, kicked off online via Piccoma in January 2022, with SB Creative compiling five tankลbon volumes under the GA Comic label as of June 2025.
Additionally, a webtoon adaptation by Minsam and RocketStaff Inc. launched on the same Piccoma platform and app in January 2025.
An anime TV series, produced by Makaria, broadcast from April to June 2025.
