Its characters and narrative draw inspiration from the K-pop boy group Enhypen and their associated music videos, with the foundational concept originating from the “Drunk-Dazed” MV launched on April 26, 2021.
As the inaugural entry in the Dark Moon franchise, it includes Dark Moon: The Blood Altar centered on Enhypen, the prequel Dark Moon: Children of Vamfield, and the spin-off prequel Dark Moon: The Grey City featuring the Japanese boy band &Team.
The plot of series is as following:
“Step into Riverfield, a town divided by two fiercely competing schools whose most admired and charismatic students are secretly vampires and werewolves. Everything changes with the arrival of Sooha, an enigmatic transfer student who captivates both groups in ways they can’t explain. As terrifying events begin to plague the community, long-buried memories from the boys’ pasts resurface, threatening to shatter their carefully hidden lives and flip their entire reality upside down.”
