Sanda, the new anime‘s official website unveiled the preview images and synopsis for the series’ up and coming 8th episode.
Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“Cornered by Ikutame, Santa manages to escape danger thanks to Fuyumura. However, the children’s wishes place a heavy burden on Santa’s heart, and plagued by guilt over not fulfilling Ikutame’s own wish, Santa resolves to strengthen his heart. Mita immediately sets out to grant Niho’s wish, but when Niho begs for a kiss, her agitation causes her to nearly transform into Santa right in front of Niho…”

Created by Paru Itagaki, Sanda is a captivating Japanese manga that she both wrote and drew. The series ran in the pages of Weekly Shōnen Champion, Akita Shoten’s popular boys’ magazine, starting in July 2021 and wrapping up in July 2024; all the installments were later compiled into 16 handy tankōbon books.
Set in a near-future Japan grappling with a sharp drop in birth rates, the narrative follows Kazushige Sanda, who gets an astonishing revelation from his classmate Shiori Fuyumura: he’s a direct heir to Santa Claus. The duo then sets off on a quest to track down Shiori’s vanished schoolmate, Ichie Ono.
