During the Anime Expo event this weekend, Yomiuri TV unveiled that Dr.Poro and Nabana Naba’s The Vermillion Mask manga is getting an anime adaptation.
The anime also unveiled a key visual.
The staff for the anime include:
- Tetsuaki Watanabe as Director
- Animation Studio: 100Studio (WOW Studio)
- Gai Hazako as Assistant Director
- Daisuke Ōhigashi as Series Supervisor
- Hisashi Higashijima as Character Designer
- Fumiyuki Go as Sound Director
- Arisa Okehazama as Music Composer
Dr. Poro and Naba began their The Vermillion Mask manga series in Young King Ours, a magazine published by Shonengahosha, in February 2021. The seventh collected volume was released by the publisher in December 2024, with the eighth volume scheduled for release this coming Monday.
