According to Amazon Japan’s listings, the 13th volume in Satoshi Shiki’s The Legend of Dororo and Hyakkimaru—his reimagining of Osamu Tezuka’s Dororo manga—marks the end of the series.
This volume is scheduled to arrive on December 19.
The Legend of Dororo and Hyakkimaru represents a Japanese manga series created and illustrated by Satoshi Shiki. It reworks Osamu Tezuka’s foundational manga series Dororo, appearing in serialized form in Akita Shoten’s Champion Red magazine starting in October.
Satoshi Shiki debuted The Legend of Dororo and Hyakkimaru in the pages of Akita Shoten’s Champion Red magazine, beginning serialization on October 19, 2018. The series shifted into its climactic final storyline, as revealed in May 2021. Its debut collected edition in tankōbon format arrived on April 19, 2019. Through July 18, 2025, a dozen such volumes have appeared in print.
