Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon anime‘s official website confirmed that the 3rd season is officially in production.
The announcement was made following the season 2 finale.
Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon is a Japanese light novel series penned by Hirukuma, with artwork by Itsuwa Kato and Yūki Hagure. Initially launched in 2016 as a web novel on the user-driven platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō, it was later picked up and published by Kadokawa Shoten in the same year.
The story centers on its unique protagonist, who, after a fatal encounter with a vending machine, finds himself reincarnated as a sentient vending machine in a fantastical dungeon realm. Soon after, he crosses paths with Lammis, a spirited young huntress, who dubs him “Boxxo” and begins carrying him on her back. Together, they embark on thrilling escapades through the dungeon.
A manga adaptation by Kunieda started serialization in ASCII Media Works’ shōnen manga magazine Dengeki Daioh in August 2021. Both the light novel and manga have been licensed for English release by Yen Press. An anime television series, produced by Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ, aired from July to September 2023, followed by a second season from July to September 2025.
