Witch Hat Atelier anime’s official website unveiled the preview and synopsis for the up and coming episode 1.
The synopsis is below:
“In a world where magic is deeply ingrained in people’s lives, Coco, a girl from a small village, continues to yearn for magic despite knowing that “only wizards can use magic.” Although told “you must not watch the moment a spell is cast,” Coco witnesses a young wizard, Kieffrey, casting a spell when he visits her village one day, and in doing so, she learns the “absolute secret” hidden within magic.”

Witch Hat Atelier is a Japanese manga crafted by Kamome Shirahama, both as its writer and artist. It has been published in Kodansha’s Morning Two [ja] seinen manga magazine since July 2016, with its chapters compiled into 14 tankōbon volumes as of April 2025. The story centers on Coco, a young girl who embarks on a journey as a witch’s apprentice, driven by her lifelong ambition to master witchcraft and undo a tragic mistake that left her mother petrified.
