On Wednesday, NHK revealed that the spin-off manga Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun: IruMafia Edition—created by hiroja as a derivative of Osamu Nishi’s original Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun series—has been greenlit for a TV anime adaptation. The series is scheduled to debut in January 2027.
Along with the announcement, the franchise unveiled the first teaser visual for the upcoming anime.

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is a Japanese manga penned by Osamu Nishi, following a young boy betrayed by his parents and handed over to a demon. This demon, however, warmly embraces him as a grandson and enrolls him in a school teeming with demonic students. The series has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion since March 2017, amassing 44 tankōbon volumes by August 2025.
An anime adaptation, brought to life by Bandai Namco Pictures, aired on NHK Educational TV from October 2019 to March 2020. Its success led to a second season, broadcast from April to September 2021, and a third season, which ran from October 2022 to March 2023.
