The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects is a Japanese light novel series penned by Fuurou with illustrations by Kinta. Initially launched as a web novel on the user-driven platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō in January 2018, it caught the attention of Earth Star Entertainment, which started publishing it under their Earth Star Novel label in October 2018. A manga adaptation, brought to life by artist Yumbo, began serialization on Earth Star Entertainment’s Comic Earth Star online manga platform in December 2018.
