Sanda, the new anime‘s official website unveiled the preview images and synopsis for the series’ up and coming 3rd episode.
Synopsis for the episode is as following:
“As more children believe in Santa, Mita gains the ability to “act in response to lies and fall.” Fuyumura tries to find a person who knows Ono’s whereabouts with this power, but Mita, who doubts the words of her classmates, faints. When Mita reveals the spiciness of her abilities, Fuyumura takes out a round flask and intentionally tells a story that will hurt her.”
Sanda anime’s episode 3 will go live on October 18, 2025.
Created by Paru Itagaki, Sanda is a captivating Japanese manga that she both wrote and drew. The series ran in the pages of Weekly Shōnen Champion, Akita Shoten’s popular boys’ magazine, starting in July 2021 and wrapping up in July 2024; all the installments were later compiled into 16 handy tankōbon books.
Set in a near-future Japan grappling with a sharp drop in birth rates, the narrative follows Kazushige Sanda, who gets an astonishing revelation from his classmate Shiori Fuyumura: he’s a direct heir to Santa Claus. The duo then sets off on a quest to track down Shiori’s vanished schoolmate, Ichie Ono.
